How to recover data from a crashed Hard Drive?
Its been a long-long time when once I lost all of my movies, software collections and other important data from my hard-disk. It is really hard to handle the situation when someone’s hard-drive crashes and he/she loses all of his/her data. Majority of such crashes occurs due to variable power supply in your area, sudden loss of current to your machine, sudden shut-down etc.
When a computer shuts down through the command given through the operating system, it also ensures that the spindle inside the hard-disk has been removed properly from the storage plates. But, this doesn’t happen during a sudden shutdown which scratches the storing plates inside the hard-disk, causing the crashing problem.
Anyways, You can get this small software which can be very helpful in recovering data through your crashed hard-disk very easily. The software name is PC-Inspector, which has many features described below:

PC-Inspector
Recover deleted files: ensures recovery of all those files which have been deleted from your hard-disk and not yet been changed or modified.
Find lost data: ensures the recovery of all lost clusters and hence the data when provided with start and ending clusters.
Find lost drive: This option actually recovers partitions inside your crashed hard-disk and so the files inside it.
You can download this small package from here.
How to do?
- Install the above software in another machine.
- Remove the crashed hard-disk from your machine.
- Install it in another machine as secondary-slave in which PC-Inspector was installed and boot from the primary-slave.
- Do as directed by the software.
