Oh God ! I am really frustrated of these lots of facebook notification emails coming from facebook. Are you facing the same problem, getting your email clean with these facebook notification emails is very easy.

But, first you have to know why these emails are coming and when does facebook sends you a mail. Actually, these emails are notification emails and they come in any of the following reasons. For example:

1. Someone sends you a message.
2. Adds you as a friend.
3. Confirms you as friend request.
4. Posts on your wall.
5. Pokes you.
6. Has a birthday coming up.
7. Suggest a friend you might know.
8. Adds a friend you suggested.
9. Joins facebook after you invite.
10. Tags you on their profile.
11. And there are lots more which will be discussed below.

So, I had given you the most common 10 notification reasons when facebook sends you a mail. These can be stopped very easily. You have to go to your Account Settings and then click the Notifications link on the left of the screen. You can jump directly from here.

How to stop these mails?

Just browse through All Notifications section and uncheck all the boxes for which you don’t want any notifications. You will never receive the mails for which you have unchecked the items, unless you re-enable it again.
