Remote control android phone through SMS !
You have kept your phone in silent and forgot where you have last seen your phone. This problem is common for most of the android users, and this is what increasing the chances of losing your phone also.
If I say that you can make your phone’s ringer on (remove silent mode) through your friend’s mobile or through any other phone in your house ! Isn’t it nice. Yes friends, this is now possible with a small App, through which you can control your Android phone remotely.
The name of this small App is Agastya, through which you can control your phone remotely with simple SMS commands. Moreover, the phone through which you are sending commands need not be a high-configuration set, a simple phone which can send SMS can do the trick for you.

This app works in a very simple strategy, when you send an SMS to your phone, it will read the SMS instantly and reacts accordingly. Suppose, you want the ringer to be switched on, then send the text “RINGER” to your phone, or you want your phone to be silent then just send “SILENT”.
I am going to give you the SMS commands which can be used through this nice package:
- SILENT – Turns your mobile into silent mode.
- RINGER – Turns your mobile into ringer mode.
- IMEI – Retrieves your mobile’s IMEI number and sends back to you.
- LAST MESSAGES – Sends you the last 5 SMS received on your phone.
- LAST CALLS – Sends you an SMS telling you about the last 5 dialled/received and missed calls.
- <CONTACT> – Gives you the details of the contact number from the address book of your mobile.
The most important feature of this App is its IMEI SMS feature which can be used to file a FIR report in case your mobile gets stolen and you don’t have the IMEI number of your device. IMEI’s are used to detect your phone’s location and other details by the Service providers.
