Nikon Coolpix P7100 review
From today onwards, I had started a new category “Camera” on my blog site. In which you will get articles about latest cameras, reviews and many other details related to imaging gadgets.
My first article to this category gives you a minimal review of Nikon Coolpix P7100 10.1 MP HD camera. This camera came into the market in mid-September’ 2011 and when it was launched in US stores, there has been a great count for its lovers and buyers.
Short Review:
Nikon is famous for its tough body and so as with this model. P7000, covers some salient features which can’t be overlooked easily, you can easily see the clarity of images after each single click.
The heart processor of this model has been changed for get incredible speed while live shooting of images. When you get more familiar with this camera, it will become a best friend of your daily life shootings. Though, not with full HD (1080p), currently this set is offering only 720p HD shooting for videos.
Look and Feel:
Nikon had given this gadget a chunky but beautiful look, with a great grip on your hands. This camera is a all-black model, which has an optical view finder and non-interchangeable 7.1x (28-200mm equivalent) zoom lens which can easily fit in a normal bag or its cover.

It comes with a rubber grip, which also gives you a decent look to the device alongwith a good grip on your hands.
Controls:
The controls on this set has been arranged on the top in a very sleek and decent design. The EV dial can be adjusted with just the touch of your thumb or forefinger, moreover, it also covers, three user-programmed settings naming U1, U2 and U3.

The rear part of this decent device holds a rolling LCD screen worth 3″ diagonal length, with an awesome resolution of 307,000 pixels. The major part of this LCD screen is that it can be tilted 81 degrees downwards and 105 degrees upwards for a better view while shooting on awkward directional situations.

Sensors:
This set has 1/1.17″ CCD image censor, which covers a maximum resolution of 3648 x 2736 pixels for better quality shots. It also covers and ISO level of 12,800 but incredibly on 3MP low noise night mode operations.
Lens:
This camera covers 7.1x, optically stabilized zoom functionality which gives 28-200mm of FL zoom on a 35mm camera. The interchangeable lens on this device makes it worth buying.
Along with all the above features, the major heart part of this device is its EXPEED C2 image processor, which gives it a great shooting bomb for both image and video recordings.
HD video recordings can be performed at 24f per second rate, which covers a onsite resolution of 720p.
This camera is priced at $446-$450 which varies in various stores across the globe.
