This ain’t a good phone … But, its a great phone with lots of features and moreover having a very sleek and unique design. After the launch of Android, all mobile manufacturing companies are striving hard to give their customers a good and nice looking android mobile gadget.

LG has already been recognized as one of the top mobile manufacturers across the world. Keeping his name and the never-ending competition, recently LG has launched his new android mobile LG Optimus 4x HD.

Look and Feel:

Looking at this gadget itself in the stores, makes the decision about the look and feel. Though, not to say much more about this set, it is very sleek in design having structured with a 5″ large clear and crisp screen with great functionalities.

This set is so much big that you have to shuffle it in your hands to press the volume, power or navigation buttons. Better to use both of your hands.

Screen:

Greatly expressed, having a exact screen size of 4.7-inch with 1280 x 720 pixels of resolution on IPS LCD screen. The clarity is just below the best ranking, because BEST RANKING has already been taken by HTC ONE X and EVO 4G LTE like sets.

Some cons are also eating up the clarity of this set. Unlike other similar sets, this gadget is not having the auto-brightness feature, which is little bit annoying. You have to adjust the brightness manually, every time your surrounding brightness changes.

Operating System:

This gadget is proudly powered with Android 4.0 ICS operating system. Though, LG has made some basic modifications in the software to grasp the look and feel of this gadget, but resembles more or less the same features and functionalities as the original Android 4.0 ICS OS. The software functionality not so attractive, in my opinion.

Heart and Specs:

The heart of the whole device, which is always behind the scenes, has been powered with 1.5 GHz Quad-Core Nvdia Tegra 3 processor with 1GB of RAM and an awesome internal flash storage capacity of 12.25GB.

Greatly designed with a 8MP of rear camera and 1.3MP of front camera, used for live chat functionalities. Common features of this set includes Bluetooth, DLNA, NFC, MicroUSB charging, digital compass and much more. Lacking behind the auto-focus feature in the camera and currently supports only 3G are some of Spec cons with this set.

Battery Life:

This set is having 2,150mAh lithium ion battery. But, as I compared, due to the usage and the size of the screen, the battery of this set drowns very quickly. Though, LG claims to have 9.36 hours of talk time and around 30 days of standby time. You know guys, this can’t be possible in real world.

Price:

Last but not the least, Price of this cool gadget is approx. between $595-$600, which is a bit expensive as compared to other similar sets.
